We the people
In our little corner of the world
Can still love our God
Reach out to our neighbors
Shine our talents
Care for our land
Respect authority
Defeat racism
Embrace the lonely
Live as one
Fight for those not seen
Serve our poor
Notice beauty
Honor our first responders
Value our veterans
Cry with the wounded
Celebrate our victors
And bring honor to our country
No matter what happens on Tuesday
We the people can still BE the people
And transform our land into a place we all long to live.
